A 27-year-old Southeast man offered on Craigslist to sell painkillers, and undercover officers bought the drugs, officials say.
Kevin Olsen is facing two counts of felony third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Peekskill Police Department Detectives Anthony Malfitano and Joseph McGann arrested him on Main Street in Peekskill at about 9 p.m. June 13.
"Olsen was arrested after detectives from the Peekskill Police Narcotics Division and the Westchester County Police Narcotics Unit replied to a Craigslist
posting offering the sale of pain management narcotics," authorities said in a statement. "Undercover officers purchased illegal drugs from Olsen in the Town of Cortlandt and the City of Peekskill leading to his arrest."
The defendant was held for arraignment.
