Seven Star Students Send Valentine's Cards to Local Seniors
Over 200 handmade cards were delivered to local Senior Citizens at the Office for Senior Resources' Annual Valentine's Day Luncheon.

From Seven Star School of Performing Arts: Over 200 handmade cards were delivered to local Senior Citizens at the Office for Senior Resources’ Annual Valentine’s Day Luncheon in Carmel, NY. Performing Arts Students attending Seven Star School classes were provided with materials to create special Valentine’s Days cards as part of the school’s S.T.A.R. Up community outreach program. The acronym stands for “Serving Today Always Reaching UP” which supports Seven Star School’s commitment to teaching classes wrapped around life lessons including giving back to the community.

The seniors were delighted as they read the cards. Pre-School Director, Jacqueline Madera, “The kids worked very hard on creating the cards and it was heartwarming to see the seniors’ reactions to the Valentine’s Day cards.”
