Sheriff Arrests Mahopac Woman on Warrant

Officials recently arrested a 37-year-old woman who was wanted on a warrant for petty larceny.

Deputies from the Sheriff's Narcotics Enforcement Unit spotted the woman in a public parking lot at about 7:40 p.m. July 10.

They were driving through Mahopac at the time and were aware of the outstanding warrant, which was issued by the Yorktown Justice Court.

Authorities took the defendant into custody without incident. They turned her over to the Yorktown Police Department.
