Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, the Food Bank has:
- Provided 22 million pounds of food, 26.4 million meals through daily distributions to partner agencies to help them serve the growing number of people seeking assistance, a 57% increase over the same period last year.
- Shipped over 5 million pounds of food, almost 6 million meals for special distributions in six counties and other hard-hit communities to meet the needs of thousands of people, many of whom are unemployed and in need of food assistance for the first time.
- Provided more than 10,000 meals to almost 9,000 seniors living in senior housing sites
