Slow Going: Lane Remains Closed For 1 Week On I-84 in Putnam, Dutchess
Bridge maintenance work will be taking place Monday through Friday during the morning commute.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — One lane of Interstate 84 is expected to close in Dutchess and Putnam counties.
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) said that one lane of I-84 eastbound and westbound is scheduled to close between Exit 52 (Taconic State Parkway) in the Town of East Fishkill in Dutchess County, and Exit 68 (Interstate 684) in the Town of Southeast in Putnam County, for bridge maintenance.
The work will take place starting Monday, Oct. 3 until Friday, Oct. 7, between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
