State Police recently arrested a 24-year-old Wappingers Falls woman who they say was drunk behind the wheel while traveling in Southeast.
Troopers from East Fishkill barracks arrested Emily Horton at about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. They were running radar on Interstate 84 when they observed a green Volkswagen traveling at 83 mph in a 55-mph zone.
Horton's blood-alcohol level was reportedly 0.11 percent. The legal limit is 0.08. She was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and she was released pending a June 20 appearance in Southeast Justice Court.
