Wrong Way-Driver Fled Police Twice, With 1-Year-Old In Car, Before DWI Arrest: NYSP
The 30-year-old Brewster woman also gave police a false name and refused to provide a proper breath sample, according to state police.

BREWSTER, NY — A potentially deadly situation was defused before anyone was hurt or killed, according to New York State Police.
NYSP said that on Wednesday, at 10:01 p.m., a trooper on patrol in the Village of Brewster saw a car traveling east in the westbound lane of Main Street, narrowly avoiding a head-on collision.
The driver did not comply with emergency lights and sirens, and continued to drive before eventually pulling over, police said. After briefly stopping, the driver fled the scene, leading to a second traffic stop, according to cops.
