Burglary Duo Nabs Nearly $13,000, Plus Beer, During Sunset Park Spree
Authorities are searching for a man and a woman in connection with the crimes.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Authorities are searching for a man and a woman who they say made off with nearly $13,000 — and some brews — during a burglary spree in Sunset Park.
During their three hits, the man gained entry into the stores and on two of those occasions the woman served as a lookout, according to police.
It started Monday, June 3, when the man go into DCPLZZ Seafood, at 770 59 Street, near Eighth Avenue, by breaking a security gate, lifting it up and walking through an unlocked door, police say. He got way with $2000 in cash, along with some Heineken beer, according to police.

Then on Sunday, June 11, the man got into Hotpot, at 811 53 Street, near Eighth Avenue, by breaking the front gate, police said. He got $8,000 from the cash register while the woman stood outside as a lookout, according to police.
Finally, on Tuesday, June 20, the man broke into Mr. Q's at 5302A 8 Avenue, near Eighth Avenue, by breaking a kitchen door, police said. He took $2,900 from the register along with some beer and an iPad Mini, according to police, again while the woman played lookout.

The duo also broke into three other stores in the area but didn't make off with any goods.
The man is pictured above on the right and left, and the duo is pictured together in the center, according to police.
