Fire In Sunset Park Apartment Building Leaves One Injured

The fire broke out Thursday morning.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A fire broke out Thursday morning in a Sunset Park apartment building and left one person with minor injuries, the FDNY told Patch.

The fire was reported around 9:20 a.m., a department spokesman told Patch, and has since been declared "under control." It started on the first floor of the four-story building.

The injured person, a civilian, is being treated on scene, the FDNY said.
