Learn Your Housing Rights at Free Brooklyn Workshop
Brooklyn Legal Services will provide free information and consultations at Sunset Park High School on May 24.

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — Brooklyn Legal Services will host a free workshop on May 24 in Sunset Park focused on the rights of tenants under local, state and federal law.
The workshop will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria of Sunset Park High School, located at 153 35th St.
Presentations will be given in English and Spanish, and will teach attendees how to avoid being unfairly discriminated against by property owners or landlords due to race, disability, family status or any other quality, according to the organization.

After the presentations, lawyers and advocates will be available to offer help to anyone who needs it.
Additionally, printed information will be available in English, Spanish, Polish and Chinese.
