- An NYPD cruiser burst into flames after a crash Sunday. The cruiser was driving through an intersection with its lights and sirens on when a BMW slammed into it. It happened around 10:45 p.m. at 65th Street and Eighth Avenue in Sunset Park. Two officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. (CBS New York)
- Attorney General Letitia James said, "upcoming legislation in New York could establish a safe state for women who seek abortions if Roe v. Wade is overturned." The bill is expected to help New Yorkers and those who travel from 26 states poised to set abortion bans if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. (Patch)
