Here are the top stories in Sunset Park today:

1. A federal grand jury indicted Frank James, 62, suspected of shooting at a New York City subway train last month - an attack that wounded 10 people. James, was charged with committing a terrorist attack against a mass transportation system and discharging a firearm during a violent crime. Both counts carry a maximum sentence of life in prison. (WABC-TV)
2. NYPD officers shot and wounded a man who was wielding a machete, and threatening a motorist over a parking spot. The incident involved the suspect chasing police officers around the parked vehicle on W. 8th Street, before one officer suffered a deep cut to his thumb. While the chase ensued, one officer shot four times, hitting the assailant once in the leg. (Yahoo News)
   
3. A 32-year-old Jewish man was hospitalized after an apparent anti-Semitic attack on Friday afternoon. The victim was approached while walking in Crown Heights, before the unknown attacker punched him and kicked him in the head, all while making derogatory remarks. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital while the police investigate the incident. (NBC New York)
