AccuWeather meteorologists predict the cold blast won't last beyond midweek, when the jet stream pivots northeast and potentially allows temperatures to reach above average. 3. The MTA's proposed subway line between Brooklyn and Queens, the Interborough Express, and a Port Authority-managed public transit route to LaGuardia Airport, could link in Jackson Heights.
