  2. According to police, after slapping a woman's behind, a groper knocked a mother and her children to the ground in Sunset Park last Tuesday, at about 10:30 p.m. The incident happened near 64th Street and Ninth Avenue, NYPD officials said. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). (Patch)
  3. A 23-year-old East New York woman has been missing for over a week. Tijae Baker was last seen on Sunday, May 1, leaving her Wortman Avenue home. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). (Patch)
  4. Beginning in August 2021 and continuing through March, a computer glitch blocked filed annual paperwork recertifying tenants' income and household status, from being properly entered into NYCHA’s system, the housing authority now acknowledges. As a result, NYCHA sent out thousands of termination notices to tenants they mistakenly believed had not filed the required annual paperwork. All terminations related to Section 8 recertifications has been paused, affecting more than 200,000 tenants. (THE CITY)
