  1. Five Sunset Park area open houses. At Patch, we provide a glimpse into open houses throughout the area.   2. The city recently kicked off $109 million worth of renovations and upgrades to Brooklyn parks. The $417 million citywide project will go to over 104 projects, including 29 in Brooklyn alone. The single largest investment is a $20.3 million allocation to reconstruct the Brownsville Recreation Center. (Brooklyn Paper)
  3. The New York City region is turning into a national warehouse capital, thanks to an e-commerce boom. In just two years, Amazon has acquired more than 50 warehouses across the city and its surrounding suburbs.   4. The New York Department of Health underreported COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes by as much as 50 percent, according to a new report published Thursday by New York Attorney General Letitia James. (Brooklyn Daily Eagle)
  5. Take-out wine and liquor drinks did not make it into Democratic lawmakers in New York's Assembly and Senate 2022-2023 budget resolutions. "The Senate intentionally omits the Executive proposal to allow on-premises establishments to sell wine or liquor drinks for take-out or delivery," the Senate's resolution states. (Patch)
