- On June 1, 70-year-old Deshui Wang was crossing 65th Street at 4th Avenue when he was struck by a 53-year-old man driving a Jeep truck, according to a police report released by the NYPD on Wednesday, June 8. Wang was brought to NYU Langone where he was pronounced dead. The driver received two summonses, said an NYPD spokesperson. (AMNY)
- Take a look at the NYPD surveillance photo. Have you seen this man? On May 19, he approached a 17-year-old boy and grabbed his genitals, police said. The groper is described as a 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 30-year-old man. Police asked that anyone with information about the incident call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). (Patch)
- The mother of Chelsea Cobo will never give up the search for her missing daughter. Rose Cobo hopes through technology she can find her daughter and others who have gone missing. Chelsea Cobo was last seen in Sunset Park near 68th Street and Bay Parkway on May 7, 2016.(News 12 Brooklyn)
- The interior of the Brooklyn Heights Library is spectacular! The library is located on the first floor of a 36-story luxury condo tower. The space is larger than any other neighborhood branch in Brooklyn with 26,620 square feet of bookshelves, seating and meeting rooms.
