2. Saturday, there was a multi-vehicle collision that closed all eastbound lanes on the Brooklyn Bridge. One person was critically injured and taken to Bellevue Hospital while others were treated at the scene. No reports on how the accident happened, though there were several crashed vehicles, one car had shattered windows, while another had rolled over onto its side. (Patch)
3. Brooklyn residents and elected officials came together on Friday night and held a vigil for Kade Lewin, the 12-year-old who was the victim of a fatal shooting one night earlier. Lewin, who lived with his mother in Flatlands, had been in a car with his aunt and an 8-year-old girl when he was hit with gunfire, and pronounced dead at the scene. Officials and residents alike are yet again calling attention to the disturbing rise in gun violence, and gun related deaths in the borough. (AMNY)
   
4. A Brooklyn debt collection firm is being sued for millions by the Attorney General's office. The $6.8 million lawsuit was filed on Thursday against Balsamo, Rosenblatt, & Hall, citing "frivolous" and "deceptive" practices. The firm is accused of abusive debt collection practices. (Patch)
