Here are the top stories in Sunset Park today:

1. Five Sunset Park area open houses to check out. The Patch provides you with a glimpse of what homes are available in and around the Sunset Park area including a listing in the Brooklyn area with 3 beds and 2 baths for $1.7 million, and another in the Brooklyn area with 2 beds and 1 bath for $475,000. 2. NYC street vendor enforcement is back at pre-pandemic levels. Despite the pandemic, City inspectors from the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection are out on the streets giving out tickets to street vendors. Sunset Park saw the greatest number of inspections so far in 2022, more than half of the population was born outside the U.S. (City Limits)
3. An affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway, named Berkshire Hathaway Home Services New York Properties', is selling condos in Sunset Park. The location is on the west side of the Gowanus Expressway, a bit away from the residential area of Sunset Park. Unit 1 is a spacious 1 bedroom, 1 1/2-bathroom unit and boasts an expansive layout with a contemporary aesthetic. 4. Gotham named Sunset Park as one of six parks to visit in NYC because of its impressive vista of Manhattan's urban skyline. "This hidden treasure bears the name of its intimate Brooklyn neighborhood, offering views of the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn's intimate neighborhoods, Staten Island and New Jersey's greenery," wrote Gotham.
