- Rising gas prices have had a clear impact on Brooklyn drivers. Prices are expected to average $3.06 per gallon this year, compared to last year's $3 per gallon, and many Brooklynites who rely on gasoline for their commute or occupation have been forced to be more conscious of their gas spending.
