Sunset Park Tobacco Store Robbed By Gunpoint, Police Say
The three suspect swiped $2,300 from the 4801 Fourth Ave. store on Monday before fleeing, police said.
SUNSET PARK, NY — Three men stole more than $2,000 during a gunpoint robbery of a Fourth Avenue tobacco store earlier this week, police said.
The suspects walked into Big Discount City Tobacco, at 4802 Fourth Ave., on Monday at about 6:30 a.m. when one took out a gun, according to the NYPD.
The gunman forced the store clerk into the bathroom while the other two suspects opened the cash register and stole $2,300 cash, police said.

The suspects then fled the location in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported during the robbery.
Police described the first suspect as a 5-foot 10-inch tall man between 20 to 25 years old, the second as a 23-year-old man and the third as a man in his twenties.
