WATCH: Old Man Punched, Thrown Against Wall In Sunset Park Attack

SUNSET PARK, BROOKLYN — A 78-year-old man was punched in the face several times and then thrown against the wall during a dispute in a Sunset Park apartment building, according to police.

The NYPD on Monday night released surveillance footage of the beating, which happened Sunday, April 30, around 5 a.m. in a building near 50th Street and Eighth Avenue, police said.

The old man suffered "lacerations to his face and head" and was treated for his injuries at Maimonides Medical Center, according to police. His attacker remains on the loose, police said.

The attacker is described by police as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, who stands 5 feet 7 inches and weighs 170 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black and white shirt with black pants, police said.
