A Syosset man is accused of trying to forcibly enter Nassau Police precinct and resisting arrest, causing two officers injuries on Tuesday night.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Marc Linden tried to forcibly enter the Nassau County Police Department’s Second Precinct, located at 7700 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury, at 7:55 p.m. An officer tried to speak with Linden, but he attempted to push past the officer and began yelling, alarming civilians inside the building, police say.
Linden then became combative and resisted lawful orders when officers tried to place him under arrest, police say. One detective suffered pain to his right shoulder and neck as a result.
