6 Hurt, 2 Seriously, In Multi-Vehicle LIE Crash

Six people were injured, two seriously, in a multiple-vehicle crash on the Long Island Expressway in Syosset on Wednesday morning.

According to Nassau County Police, at least six vehicles were involved in the crash— including a tractor trailer, three box trucks and three cars— at the westbound Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway exit (Exit 44N) at 9:18 a.m.

All four westbound lanes have were closed for about three hours before reopening.
