JERICHO, NY — A home was badly damaged in a fire on Christmas night in Jericho, police said.

Two firefighters from the Jericho Fire Department were hospitalized. One had difficulty breathing and another firefighter had an ankle injury battling the blaze on Vista Drive, police said.

The home, which sustained significant damage, was attached to other residences which were also damaged, police said.

The Nassau County Fire Marshal and the Arson Bomb Squad responded to the fire and are investigating.
