Cops Continue to Seek 2 That Robbed Hicksville Gold Shop at Gunpoint

Incident occurred Feb. 16.

Nassau County Police continue to seek the public’s help with identifying the men wanted in connection with a Hicksville robbery that occurred Feb. 16.

Police say that at 3:20 p.m. the suspects, acting in concert, entered Wall Street Gold Buyers, located at 154 W. Old Country Road. Both men brandished handguns and committed the robbery. One of the employees was struck with the gun during a brief struggle.

The men stole a Michael Kors watch and more than $1,000. They then fled in an black colored Infiniti QX4 SUV from possible model years 1997-2003, and headed west on Old Country Road through the traffic light on Route 106. The vehicle was driven by an unknown man wearing glasses, police said.

One suspect is described as 25 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet , with short hair. He was wearing a light colored shirt. The other suspect is described as between 22 and 30 years old and 5-foot-9. He was wearing a mask or scarf, and a black jacket, police said.

Police are offering up to $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Callers will remain anonymous.
