Police Seek Syosset Church Donation Box Burglars
The men pried open four church donation boxes and stole cash earlier this month, police say. Do you recognize them?
Police have released surveillance photos of two men accused of stealing money from church donation boxes in Syosset on Thursday, June 7.
According to authorities, the men entered St. Edward the Confessor Church, located at 205 Jackson Ave., pried open four donation boxes and stole an undisclosed amount of cash at 7 p.m.
The men are wanted for burglary.

Police released descriptions of the suspects. The first man is described as black, with a thin build and short black hair. He was wearing a black and white jacket and pants.
The second man was described as black, with a medium build, beard and black hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black and white pants and grey sneakers.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this burglary to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
