Residents Forced To Evacuate From Overnight Fire: Police

OLD WESTBURY, NY — A fire took place Monday morning in a Old Westbury home, police said.

The fire was contained to the basement of the home on Grace Drive at 4:30 a.m., police said.

Residents safely evacuated before the police arriving. The Westbury Fire Department and neighboring department extinguished the blaze.

No injuries were reported. The fire is not considered suspicious, police said.
