State Police Investigating Serious Crash on Northern State

New York State Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash at Exit 38 of the Northern State Parkway in Plainview Tuesday morning.

The crash, apparently involving one car, remains under investigation and tied up the morning commute in the westbound lanes east of the Sunnyside Blvd. exit. An eyewitness reported multiple police cars and at least one ambulance were at the scene.

A state police spokesman said troopers are still at the scene of the crash. The details of the crash were not available.
