Syosset Home Burglarized; Backpack, Pocketbook Stolen: Police

The person is at large for the early Tuesday crime, police said.

SYOSSET, NY — A Syosset home was burglarized early Tuesday. Just after 3 a.m., Nassau police said, someone entered the property on Church Street through a front window.

The suspect removed a backpack and a pocketbook, both with various items, and fled on foot, authorities said.

Police are investigating and ask anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
