Woodbury Home Burglarized, Items Stolen: Police

The home was empty and under construction when someone broke in, police say. Tools and appliances were stolen, police say.

WOODBURY, NY — A vacant home under construction was burglarized on Friday, Nassau police said.

Officers were called to Northwood Court at 3:30 p.m. Friday, police said. Someone cut a padlock to the door end entered, police said. The thief stole construction tools and appliances, police said. Detectives are looking for the burglar.

Detectives asked anyone with information on the burglary to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
