AT&T Employee Arrested on Theft Charge

Tarrytown Police charged a Tarrytown man who worked at the Main Street storefront with petty larceny.

An initial grand larceny investigation resulted in a lesser charge of petty larceny when Tarrytown Police arrested a Tarrytown man.

Following some investigation, police arrested Miguel Lagares, 29, of Tarrytown, for allegedly stealing a phone from the AT&T on Main Street, where he was employed. 

The store manager had called police saying he believed his employee had stolen a significant amount of merchandise from the store and was no longer reachable.

Police released Lagares with a court date.
