Building Inspector Closes Match Bar
The bar is considered structurally unsafe, reads the notice taped to the Beekman bar's front door.
Although police have not made any connection between The Match Bar and the shootings that occurred early Sunday morning at its doorstep, there is now a CLOSED notice on the window today for the "unsafe" structure.
A white document from Sean McCarthy, Building Inspector, proclaims:
THIS STRUCTURE IS UNSAFE AND OCCUPANCY HAS BEEN PROHIBITED BY THE BUILDING INSPECTOR. IT IS HEREBY DIRECTED AND ORDERED:
