A Roseridge resident in Tarrytown reported to police the theft of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from her home.
The resident told Tarrytown police that this happened sometime between September and November.
Lt. William Herguth said this wasn't a break-in; authorities suspect it was the people hired to clean the home.
The stolen items were valued at approximately $6,700.
Police are investigating the grand larceny case.
