GREENBURGH, NY — Polls closed at 9 p.m. around Westchester County, with Democratic and Republican registered voters making decisions for governor, lieutenant governor and two Assembly races.
The Democratic primary in Assembly District 92 saw incumbent Tom Abinanti being challenged by County Legislator MaryJane Shimsky.
The winner will face Carlo Valente who is running on the Republican and Conservative lines in the general election.

In Assembly District 95, the race was on to be the Democrat on the November ballot to replace longtime Assemblywoman Sandra Galef who is retiring.
Dana Levenberg, Colin Smith and Vanessa Agudelo are on the primary ballot.
