Diesel Fuel Spill on Private Lot
Tarrytown Police, the Fire Department and a County Haz Mat team responded to a complaint of a tractor trailer spilling diesel fuel at the 828 S. Broadway office complex.

Two unauthorized tractor trailer trucks were allegedly causing damage on the private campus where Riverkeeper and other organizations have their offices.
A caller reported to police on Feb. 25 at 1:42 p.m that the trucks were on their property. Police requested the fire department for a parked and unoccupied trailer leaking diesel fuel. The fire chief requested they send an alarm truck and utility truck to respond. Towing also arrived to remove the trailer from the private property at 828 S. Broadway.
The fire department notified County Haz Mat due to the fuel spilling into the storm drain system.
