Easter Egg Hunts and Sunday Services

Here is a list of Easter events happening in and around Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow this year.

The National Weather Service predicts a weekend – at last! – that resembles spring more than winter; daytime temps should be in the low 50s with sunshine at least on Saturday. Sunday looks a little dicier as of 2 p.m. when there’s a slight chance of rain.

Early birds will be rewarded on Sunday with nicer weather and two unique sunrise services in the villages. Check out these and other select offerings in the area gathered here.

Sunday Services

The "Community Sunrise Service" at Union Church of Pocantico Hillson Sunday, March 31 at 6:30 a.m. happens in the meadow behind the church. It's followed by a continental breakfast in the church's Parish Hall, and is open to all.

Reformed Church parishioners go to the Old Dutch Church at the crack of dawn on Sunday for a sunrise service at this historic site. The Easter Sunrise Service starts at 6:42 a.m. at the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow; an Easter Festival of the Resurrection is at 10:30 a.m. at the Clock Church.

Christ Church at 43 South Broadway offers services in English and Spanish, breakfast and lunch, and an egg hunt! 10 a.m. is the Holy Eucharist, followed by a Celebratory Brunch & Easter Egg Hunt. At 12:30 p.m. is La Santa Misa de Pascua, followed by Easter Lunch (almuerzo).

Saturday Egg Hunts

, 2028 Albany Post Road, for Easter festivities. Grab your baskets for some Easter fun, as we hunt for eggs, each last one! Hunt #1: noon; Hunt #2: 2 p.m. Rain Date, Sunday, March 31.

Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m., the Village of Sleepy Hollow invites you to bring the kids out for the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Douglas Park, with big bunny, treats and photo opps!
