Greenburgh Fall, Winter Clothing Drive Overwhelming Success
The next ask is for reflective vests and helmets for asylum seekers to use when bicycling around the community.
GREENBURGH, NY — There was an overwhelming response to Greenburgh’s call for fall and winter clothing for asylum seekers temporarily housed in Ardsley.
Greenburgh Supervisor Paul Feiner and Ardsley Mayor Nancy Kaboolian said there was a massive outpouring of generosity at Greenburgh Town Hall.
“When we announced the clothing drive, we thought that the drive would last till the end of the month,” they said. “But the response exceeded our goals and we have more clothing than we need.”
