La Esquina Supermarket Opens in Sleepy Hollow
A spacious and well-stocked grocery opens in the inner village, and the owner welcomes all to their Saturday grand opening.
La Esquina Latina sits at the corner ("esquina" means corner) of College Avenue and Valley Street.
The space is bright, perfectly renovated and well-stocked with specials: this week one-pound bags of Domino sugar are two for $5.
There's fresh produce, a butcher, dairy department and, says owner Marcello, a smiling, helpful staff to greet you. Come on by!

Official opening is Saturday, but they are open now daily. Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Sundays, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. 914.418.5938
