Man Charged with Selling Mushrooms in Irvington
The Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force reported the arrest of the same man three times within a week.
A 22-year-old Tarrytown man was arrested three times in less than seven days for alleged crimes related to possessing and selling mushrooms, according to police.
In Irvington, an October 7 4:30 p.m. arrest stemming from an investigation led by the Greenburgh Drug and Alcohol Task Force, led to Hysoun Isaksen being charged with B Felony Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree.
Police said Isaksen was found selling mushrooms at the time.
He was arraigned in Irvington and released on $2,500 bail (an amount set in Tarrytown that also covered the Irvington case), with a returnable court date of October 21.
Four days earlier, police in Tarrytown reported the Greenburgh Task Force had utilized a search warrant to raid Isaksen's Embree Street home, where Psilocybin mushrooms and more than one ounce of marijuana was seized.
In Tarrytown, he was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
The Task Force also reported arresting Isaksen a third time for alleged Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree again on October 9.
