Man with Long Record Arrested in Tarrytown
Riley Farmer, of Elmsford, was arrested by Tarrytown Police for jumping bail with a new bail set at $10,000 cash or $15,000 bond.
Riley Farmer, of Elmsford, a man with a lengthy criminal record, was arrested by Tarrytown Police for jumping bail.
Farmer, 52, was arrested on March 13 at 12:18 p.m. for jumping bail in the third degree. Bail was set by Judge Kyle McGovern at $10,000 cash or $15,000 bond with a return court date.
His original arrest was for a Grand Larceny in the third on August 16, 2011. This charge came just one month after he was released from a 11-month incarceration sentence for attempting to steal nearly $2,000, or 26 cartons worth, of cigarettes from Walgreens in April, 2010.

Farmer has an extensive rap sheet that includes convictions for stealing property and being in possession of narcotics.
In 2007, Farmer was arrested in Tarrytown for Criminal Sale of a Firearm. Farmer was allegedly caught attempting to sell a stolen Glock .40 calibre pistol in exchange for money and drugs. He was also found to be in possession of a .38 Smith and Wesson Revolver.
