Man with Severed Fingers Drives Erratically through Sleepy Hollow

What sounds like a scene from the Stephen King movie they are shooting in Philipse Manor was a true tale from the police reports.

A caller on May 24 at 1 p.m. told Sleepy Hollow Police that he had seen a man with severed fingers driving erratically up Beekman Avenue in a black pick up truck. 
Officers went to check and ended up at Phelps Memorial Hospital where they found a man who had checked into the emergency room where he was being treated for three crushed fingers on his right hand, his pinky, ring and middle fingers.
