Memorial Day Parades Set For Greenburgh, Tarrytown

The federal holiday honors U.S. military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

GREENBURGH, NY — The town of Greenburgh will hold its Memorial Day parade Monday.

It will begin at 10 a.m. at DeSanti Plaza, near the Hartsdale train station, in Hartsdale.

At 9 a.m. Monday, the Central Veterans Committee of the Tarrytowns will present its Memorial Day Parade.

The parade begins on Main Street in Tarrytown and will continue to Patriots Park for a Memorial Day Service.

Police said Main Street from Broadway to Windle Park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. No parking will be allowed on Main Street from Broadway to Windle Park or on Broadway from Main Street to Patriot's Park from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
