Messy Weather in Store for Wednesday Morning
Westchester commuters should prepare for a wet, morning commute on Wednesday.

Westchester drivers may need a few extra minutes in the morning thanks to some wet, winter weather on the way.
The National Weather Service is forecasting rain, snow and sleet for the Tarrytown-Sleepy Hollow area after 1 a.m. Wednesday. Although only a small amount will accumulate (less than a half-inch) the roads will be slick for the morning commute.
The messy mix will continue through about 1 p.m. Wednesday, and there will be a slight chance of rain after 4 p.m., according to the NWS.

The temps will hit a high of 39 degrees and a low of 31, according to the NWS.
Over in Northern Westchester, Putnam, Rockland and Orange counties, there is a winter weather advisory in effect from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
