Minchala-Mendez Charged With Bail Jumping
Tarrytown police again charge an Elmsford man with a growing record under two names.

Juan C. Minchala-Mendez was arrested on March 20 by Tarrytown Police for jumping bail, adding to a growing record in Tarrytown.
Minchala-Mendez, 25, of Elmsford, was arraigned by Judge Kyle McGovern with new bail set at $10,000 bond and $5,000 cash and a return court date.
He was previously arrested on Jan. 30 by Tarrytown Police, after getting picked up by Queens police under the name of Jose Espinosa on a small larceny charge.

Here, he was wanted for failure to appear in court under the name Juan C. Minchala-Mendez. He had been arrested on Jan. 19 for criminal impersonation in the second degree, a misdeameanor.
Tarrytown detectives collected him on Jan. 30 from Queens Criminal Court following his arraignment there and transported him to Tarrytown. Minchala-Mendez was arraigned in Tarrytown with bail set at $5,000 cash and $10,000 bond and a return court date. Unable to make bail, he was taken to County Jail.
