An Elm Street man had various complaints to police -- starting with claiming he got kicked out of his apartment and punched by his landlord -- which ended with him telling police he was going back to kill the man.
Police received a 911 call on Oct. 3 at 4:10 a.m. from a man who said he was thrown out of his house. An officer reported the man would be returning to his room for the night and that the building would be referred the building department.
At 4:21 a.m., the previous caller stated he when returned to his room, the landlord punched him. Police found that the caller had not been hit and that he would now be making arrangements for a place to stay that night.
At 5:30 a.m., the same man came to headquarters to tell police that he planned to return to the apartment to kill his landlord.
Police said he was intoxicated and wanting to retrieve items from his apartment, but they told him to return in the morning to do so. He was sent on his way.
The man, 38, of Sleepy Hollow, was soon observed in the middle of the roadway in front of the Korean Church on Broadway "impeding traffic," police said.
He was now arrested on a disorderly conduct charge.
Note: An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
