Police Arrest Man After Beekman Bar Fight

Sleepy Hollow Police report the arrest of a 24-year-old Peekskill man who also had to be taken to the hospital for alleged intoxication and injuries.

Sleepy Hollow Police responded to a complaint of loud noise coming from the Oasis Bar and made an arrest of a man reportedly intoxicated and wounded from a fight.

On Feb. 24 at 3:26 a.m. a caller complained to police of loud noise coming from the sports bar on 111 Beekman Avenue.

Officers sent and reported an unruly large group. Police contacted Tarrytown PD for assistance, who sent two additional units to help break up the crowd.

Officers report one man was arrested who needed an ambulance.

Sleepy Hollow Police Chief Gregory Camp said the man needed medical assistance for injuries from a fight that occurred either inside or outside the bar and also for evaluation of his alleged intoxicated state.

The 24-year-old from Peekskill was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
