Police: Back to Back Mother-in-Need Calls

Tarrytown Police received a series of calls, and sent a series of ambulances, for three different mothers one day.

The Tarrytown Volunteer Ambulance Corps, within several hours on the same day, responded to three calls in a row for mothers in need of emergency medical assistance.

On March 16 at 3:55 p.m., police received a call from Miller Avenue requesting TVAC for a mother having chest pains. The woman was transported to Phelps Memorial Hospital.

At 6:54 p.m., a Carrollwood Drive caller said their mother was unresponsive. Officers on the scene reported the woman was conscious and alert at this time; she was also taken to Phelps.

Finally, at 8:15 p.m., a Hendrick Lane caller requested help for her mother with cardiac issues. Responders provided the woman with oxygen and transported her to Phelps.
