Police: Bad Parking in Valley Street Garage

Sleepy Hollow police received a complaint from a woman who lost her license plate on one occasion in a parking garage and her gas on another.

A woman made two complaints to Sleepy Hollow police of separate instances where each of her two cars were tampered with in a Valley Street parking garage.

A caller reported to police on March 24 that while her car was parked in the parking garage on Valley Street her front license plate was removed. Her neighbor found it lying on the ground in front of the car. Police confirmed that the plate appeared to be unscrewed from the front bumper and placed on the ground.

The complainant also stated that in November she found her other car, parked in the same garage, with its gas door forced open and no gas left in the vehicle.

She did not report it at the time. At this time, she wished a blotter entry only to show the superintendent of the building.
