Police: Blue Laser in the Eye

A man called Tarrytown police to report that someone had pointed a blue laser pointed at his eye on Main Street.

Tarrytown police report a man was very concerned when he found himself allegedly targeted in the eye by a blue laser near Main Street.

The man told police on March 20 at 9:46 p.m. that someone shined a blue laser at his eye while he was standing in the area of Main Street and South Broadway.

Police searched the area but found nothing.

The man refused medical attention, despite being “very excited and concerned,” according to police. Officers said they would continue to monitor the area that night. 

The dangers of blue light lasers are "no joke" reports the Wickedlasers.com website, which sells them, though nothing that the dangerous zone for exposure seems to be within three feet.
