Police: Dog Abandoned Outside C-Town
A store employee reported to police that the dog had spent more than three hours tied to a post near the store's loading dock.

A dog spent upwards of three hours tied to a post outside C-Town, police report.
A person came into Tarrytown Police headquarters on March 20 at 7:17 p.m. reporting that a dog seemed to have been left behind at C-Town Supermarket.
Police went to the scene and talked to an employee who said the dog had been left unattended and tied to a post in the loading dock area for over three hours.

Police brought the dog to headquarters, awaiting Greenburgh Animal Control.
At 8:56 p.m., the dog was turned over the animal warden.

Lt. William Herguth said he did not know the breed of the dog or have a photo.
